Dr. Aharon Tavger

Dr. Aharon Tavger is an archaeologist with the Staff Officer of Archaeology for the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria, where he directs the excavation, research, and publication of the region’s antiquities. He also serves as a lecturer in the Department of Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology at Ariel University. A leading field researcher of Judea and Samaria, Dr. Tavgar co-directs excavations in the Shiloh and Hebron regions and the New South Samaria Survey, documenting hundreds of archaeological sites across the biblical heartland.

This series is dedicated to the memory of Gabi Harow, a devoted Zionist deeply committed to strengthening Jewish life in Judea and Samaria. Gabi served as Vice President for Resource Development at Ariel University, and previously as CEO of the Gush Etzion Foundation, a member of the Nokdim community board, and worked with Regavim. Known for his humility, determination, and warmth, his life was guided by service, clarity of principles, and an unwavering dedication to the Jewish people and their homeland. A passionate advocate for Judea and Samaria, Gabi conceived and championed this webinar series, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
