Just as in the days of the Bible, thousands of Jewish farmers are once again working the soil of Israel — in Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley. They raise sheep and cattle, cultivate vineyards, plant wheat fields, and revive the ancient agricultural traditions of our people in the Land of Israel.
Agriculture is not only about food — it is about protecting the land of the Jewish people and securing the future of the State of Israel.
These farmers live in remote hills and valleys, far from major cities, dedicating their lives to this sacred mission.
They are the modern pioneers of Israel — continuing the Zionist dream with their own hands and hearts.
More than a century ago, the Jewish hero and pioneer Joseph Trumpeldor declared:
“Where the Jewish plow will plow its last furrow, there will our border pass.”
Today, these farmers need our help. To succeed, they require vital resources: tractors, plows, farming equipment, cows, sheep, goats, and even humanitarian essentials such as electricity and water systems.
Over the past two years, AFJS has been standing with these modern pioneers, supporting the renewal of Jewish agriculture in Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley. Thanks to generous donors, we are helping farmers meet their challenges and strengthen their communities.
Now you too can be part of this mission — the frontline of modern Zionism.
